  • The programme schedule for the SPARC/SPARC Europe workshop, "Institutional Repositories: The Next Stage," to be held November 18-19 2004 in Washington, DC, is now available also by a downloadable PDF. There is both a discount for SPARC Europe members and a special "early-bird" saving (which expires October 15). An online registration form and detailed information about the workshop and the conference hotel are both available. 
  • ICOLC Fall'04 Barcelona, from Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th October, 2004 at the Alimara Hotel, Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). The Conference is targeted at academics, librarians and public employees with interest in consortia licensing. The Conference is not generally open for commercial players in the publishing market. Publishers/vendors will be invited to participate in the grill sections and the following social event. The Conference is arranged by the Consorci de Biblioteques Universitàries de Catalunya (CBUC). 
  • E-ICOLC 5  Conference, Comwell Borupgaard at Snekkersten, North Zealand (just outside Elsinore), Denmark, October 23-25, 2003. The Conference is targeted at academics, librarians and public employees with interest in consortia licensing. Publishers/vendors will be invited to participate in the grill sections and the following social event. The conference will be arranged by Denmark's Electronic Research Library
  • 4th ICOLC European Conference, Athos Palace-Pallini Hotel, Kallithea-Chalkidiki, Greece, October 3-5 2002. Preliminary program, general information and registration information are available at: www.heal-link.gr/e-icolc. The final program will be announced soon
  • ELPUB 2002 - 6th International Conference on Electronic Publishing, Karlovy Vary, 6-9 novembre 2002. The objective of ELPUB2002 is to bring together researchers, managers,  developers, and users working on the issues related to electronic publishing for public, scientific and commercial applications. The conference will continue the tradition of the previous conferences which took place in Great Britain in 1997, Hungary in 1998, Sweden in 1999, Russia in 2000 and England in 2001.

  • Endorsement of the Bath Profile (ICOLC, dicembre 2001). It is an international Z39.50 specification supporting library applications and resource discovery. Version 1.1 of the Profile, released in June 2000, with minor clarifications in February 2001, is endorsed as an ISO Internationally Recognized Profile (IRP)
